Biography
Erin is a certified yoga teacher through The White Lotus Foundation where she studied under the direction of Ganga White and Tracy Rich.
In 1999 she began teaching yoga in New York City. A registered yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance, Erin has studied meditation and yoga
practices in New York, California, India, and Japan.
Erin teaches from her personal practice and experience of Vinyasa Yoga. She is greatly influenced by her early years of study with Sharon
Gannon, her later experiences with Pattabhi Jois, John Friend, and Iyengar practitioners, and her studies at Krishnamacharya's
Yoga Madarim in India. Erin hopes to allow the practitioner a personal experience while striving to keep these ancient techniques accessible,
modern and dynamic.
Erin teaches at Stony Brook University through the Center for Dance, Movement and Somatic Learning.
In addition to group classes Erin teaches in-home privates to individuals and families, leads yoga retreats in New York, Jamaica, and Costa Rica.
